This is what I wrote the year I won NaNoWriMo. It’s been edited enough to get the proof copy printed and sent to me (the prize for winning) but then shelved. It’s literally on my bookshelf in the living room. But it’s finished. Not completed, but the story is over.
Denise was the most popular girl in high school. A cheerleader, smart, fun, well liked. Dated the football star, even followed him to college and got married. Ten years later, she finds herself divorced, in a dead-end job, and with an invitation to her 10-year class reunion. Will she be ready to face her former classmates?
