When I went to the Houston Blogger Symposium I met a bunch of lovely ladies who like to get together and talk it up and hang out and have a good time.
I finally got to go to such a meetup this Sunday. It was Pinterest themed, so we were supposed to make a treat we’ve pinned and we were going to do a Pinterest craft. You know I’m not crafty or cooky. Mostly I half ass things like Sandra Lee. Luckily I know myself and my pinboard for food reflects my half-assed nature.
I made s’mores crescent rolls.
Like a boss.

I actually nailed it. I should have put more marshmallows but nobody complained to my face (or via Twitter, as it was a blog meetup).
It was really fun chatting with ladies I knew detailed information about even though we haven’t done more than wave at each other. Addy’s Instagram pics got rave reviews. But that’s the life of a blogger. We know about each other’s jobs and significant others and babies. And of course everything is documented and people talk to you but are also scrolling down their phones and you exchange information by @ names. Love it.
The craft was put on by the lovely Bree at The Thing About Joy. She was lovely enough to bag up the leather and string and washer so we could make fancy bracelets.
