Friday I wanted to tell this funny story just because it’s Friday and I keep things lite around here. Then… ok I’m just going to tell the story (with pictures) then tell about Friday morning which is also funny…now because tragedy + time = comedy. The smaller the tragedy, the shorter the amount of time. So now it’s about ripe.
Wednesday night Brownlee was going to work out so me and Addy were going to make a night of Bubble Guppies and dinner and probably ice cream.… and then
It’s that time of year y’all. Christmas card time. So here’s a Minted review for you. A great site to do all your Christmas card handling.
Pre-baby I never cared much for sending out Christmas cards, but you see how now I have to go through the motions of having a whole idea and Christmas card photo shoot for Addy. Luckily all I have to worry about is the photo part. … and then
We ate. A lot.
Me and Gabby attempted Black Friday Thursday Night (appauled? I don’t care) and it was a massive failure. Because, Walmart.
I fell in medium love with the 85mm then I looked at the pictures and was head over heels and now need a piggy bank to save up for it.
And I’m sure some of these will be on the Christmas card, but I can’t wait that long to show them off. … and then
Right so I didn’t do the post until we got back from Thanksgiving. Anyway, the time with the lens was well spent but that will probably be a photo bomb post for Wednesday.
I can’t believe we’re at 2 years 9 months. Birthday planning will commence…eventually. Of course the biggest thing was transitioning her crib into a daybed. And although we haven’t really gotten more sleep over it, at least I don’t have to get up in the middle of the night to get her. … and then
I rented an 85mm f/1.8 lens for 10 days. I want to try to get some decent photos of Addy for this year’s Christmas card. And again, I blame Pinterest for the inspiration. We’ll see how they come out after the fact.
Anyway, I’m going to get real scientific with my photo knowledge right now. Bear with me. The smaller the mm, the wider the angle of the lens.… and then
We changed Addy’s crib into a big girl bed. A daybed to be exact. We cleaned and re-arragned her room a bit so she would feel like “this is my big girl bed and I’m going to sleep in it.” We have learned nothing about parenting.
Saturday I took her to Target so she could pick out a nice blanket for her bed. … and then
For no good reason, Addison told me I was a boy.
I know I have short hair and I don’t wear dresses or skirts, but that doesn’t really just make me a boy. I think. I never took gender studies.
In an effort to not start a screaming war with her (we really get into it about the number of toes she has), I decided to be a little sensible and ask her if she was a girl or a boy.… and then
