I’ve kinda sorta started party planning. I ordered a tshirt on Etsy so that’s a start.
This month has been great on the sleep front. I just started to put her down and walk out. The first few days gave me grief, but after a week she got used to the idea of just laying down in the bed. … and then
It’s a couple days late, but so what. I’m on vacation remember?
I think the most notable thing this month is that we’ve seen Nemo approximately 50 times. Yes there are only 30 days in a month. Do the math. As I type this, Addy is at her table eating her “ghetti” and watching Nemo. Again. She gets scared of the sharks and even covers her eyes before they get on screen, but that doesn’t stop her from watching it.… and then
The kid is really funny now. Lots of words and attempts at conversation. My dad said that he told Addy to answer every question with “no” and I thought he was kidding, but that’s really what she is doing. Sometimes it will be like “Addy do you want juice?” “NOOOO! <with furious headshaking, yet extended arms for juice>”. It’s maddening. It’s hilarious.… and then
This month has been extra busy. It seems like anyway. I feel like at any moment Addy will start speaking in full sentences. She’s been babbling A LOT. And although I say that like every month, I extra mean it this month. When we look at pictures I always ask her who people are. Now she points at pictures “who is dat?”. … and then
