It’s been a quietish month with rainy weekends so we really haven’t done anything. I’m good and ready for fall but that really doesn’t matter in Texas until Thanksgiving. We did have to lay my grandfather to rest this past week but that did mean that Addy got to spend a lot of time with some cousins, which was fantastic.
This week daycare goes to uniforms which is A) stupid and B) not going to stop my love of Gap Kid.… and then
Addy’s 2 and a half.
So now she says things like “mommy sit there, I be right back.” or “no I’m ‘not wearing that, where are my Bubble Guppies shoes?” and then she goes and gets the shoes and puts them on. And if you are a toddler mom and are about to hit me up like “zomg where did you find Bubble Guppies shoes?” then I will disappoint you now. … and then
This month snuck up on me. I suppose with the holidays and the fact that I’m about to start buying 3T pants, it’s hard to believe that only another month has passed.
I think the biggest accomplishment for me so far is that we’ve gotten Addy to start using toothpaste. I don’t know if you’ve ever had the misfortune of having to wrangle a toddler to get their teeth brushed, but it is no easy feat. … and then
No tear-inducing slideshow this year. I got a toddler to chase!
Lately I’ve been in charge of kissing boo-boo’s. Any sort of bump on anything warrants a kiss to make it feel better. It’s cute until she like stubs a toe or whatever. The newest body part she’s learned is “elbow” so there are lots of elbow kisses.
