Addy’s been being Addy lately. She is being very “let me do it” about everything. It’s making me sad. The other day she fed herself some puffs (small meltaway snacks) and then used me as leverage to stand up and stood on her own for about 10 seconds. she’s getting better and better at it and I know very soon she’ll be a standing pro. And we all know walking comes after that. But she’s a tiny baby! Doesn’t she realize that?! She’s starting to realize that when we disappear around the corner and go into another room that she can actually follow us. I still haven’t bought any sort of baby gates or anything of that nature but we also haven’t had any incidents. I’m itching to get rid of the glass coffee table and get an ottoman instead. Home improvement AND baby safe all at once. Ha!
But I do need to find a way to get Addy more baby exposure. She was at a 1st birthday party this weekend and still wants to grab every baby’s face. I don’t know what baby’s are supposed to do with each other. Maybe a face grab is baby etiquette like how grown-ups shake hands. I gotta figure something out. Maybe re-look into a Mommy group or something (they just had an Up All Night episode about that).
Still no teeth.
