Second Mother’s Day down! OW! There’s not really much to blog about there. It’s just a great day to recognize moms for all they do. It’s cool. Although I have noticed that it’s just another day for moms to plan activities and really all most moms want to do is nap or just have some peace and quiet. Or let it be someone else’s job to get the food. And that’s fine cause you get cards and maybe flowers or maybe even gifts. Even if all you want is a pair of slippers or a vacuum or something lame and mom-ish. And then it’s Monday and you’re back to work (or back to working at home). But it’s still a great day.
Next year I’m just going to ask that I don’t get bombarded with mass text messaging. At least not until 4pm.
